It's is believed that the first step towards peace building is when the pressing needs of the people are addressed. This is includes access to quality education, health care, food security and portable drinking water.

Creating and expanding economic opportunities that facilitate easy access to employment opportunities both the skilled and unskilled in our society is the surest way of drifting the minds of the people from engaging in conflicts to productive ventures.

It is on the altar of this belief that Paabinaa Meriga Peace Initiative (PAMEPI) a non-profit and non-governmental organization (NGO) operating in Ghana West Africa, was born with the mission to bring about quality education and improve upon the lives of deprived children, Youth and the needy people through equal access to education and sustainable development.

In the pursuance of this mission from 2006-2012, we reached out to such deprived schools like Dakpema primary school, Ziong primary school and Saakuba primary school all in the Northern Region as well as Asasetre ICT Centre in the Western Region.

"We have an obligation as humans to tackle issues that undermined our values. With this realization; we have embraced this year with the desire to bring hope to the hopeless, quality education to the deprived children and peace to regions that are trapped in the dungeon of misunderstanding.
